City Councilmembers have refused to speak to us about the project
due to pending litigation. They may believe that if they take a
stand in legislating against this massive development, the developer
may try to sue the City. What they may not know is how many people
oppose this project as it stands. By emailing,
calling or writing to your elected officials, you can help
make a difference for the North Shore.

Resolutions by the Republican and Democratic Parties of Hawai'i:
On May 26-28, 2006, both the Hawai'i Republican Party and the Hawai'i
Democratic Party held state conventions. Party members at each convention
voted respectively
to adopt resolutions supporting the reevaluation of the project.
The Republican
Resolution on the Kuilima Expansion Project was the only
resolution passed at the Republican convention.
The Democratic Resolution Relating to Turtle Bay Development
is on page 7 of the party's Resolution on Business.
